What is the difference between Khao Lak and Takua Pa dry season and wet season?

Khao Lak has a tropical coastal climate. The drier season, broadly from November to April, usually offers more reliable beach and island conditions, while the wetter southwest-monsoon period brings heavier showers, rougher seas and greener landscapes. Weather can still change quickly in either season.

For travel decisions, check a current local forecast, marine conditions and national-park notices rather than relying on a static answer page. Wet-season trips can be enjoyable with flexible plans, but island tours, swimming and road travel may be disrupted.
